Feeding the Hungry

They are like sheep without a shepherd (Mt. 9:36). It is true that it is better to teach people how to fish rather than to always hand them a fish, but it is very important to note that not everyone has the ability to learn to fish. Some are simply too elderly, too weak, or not so well, and the opportunities and grounds on which to fish are simply not accessible due to who the person is. Therefore, it is important that when we take a bite to eat, when we visit the doctor, when we go on vacation, we give thanks to God for all these things, and think about someone somewhere who is not so lucky like us, and spare a little something to share. Someone can use your help. Your old dress or shoes in your closet are a Christmas dress or a birthday dress for someone.

In this light, and having grown up having little or nothing at some points, and having benefited from the value of sharing from others, I think we can do it. We can be a part of the story of someone’s life in a very positive way.

SHARING GOD’S BLESSINGS, GHANA, is the way to go. Let us do it for one another. Let us do it for God.
